Sibling Support Doula

When labor begins, knowing your older children are safe, loved, and well cared for allows you to focus on welcoming your new baby with confidence and peace of mind. Our Sibling Support During Labor packages provide compassionate, reliable care for your older child(ren), ensuring they remain comfortable in the familiarity of their own home while you focus on your birth experience.

This package includes a two-hour "Get to Know You" visit around 36 weeks of pregnancy. During this visit, your sibling support doula will build a relationship with your child(ren), learn their routines, discuss your family's preferences, and become a familiar, trusted presence before labor begins.

Your sibling support doula will then be on call 24/7 throughout your due date window (38–42 weeks). When labor begins, your doula will come directly to your home to provide seamless care while you travel to the hospital or birth center, or prepare for your home birth.

Throughout your labor, your doula will maintain your child's normal routine, prepare meals and snacks, engage them in age-appropriate activities, provide emotional reassurance, and ensure they feel safe, supported, and loved. If desired, we can also facilitate sibling introductions and help create a calm, positive transition as your family welcomes its newest member.

Our goal is to provide your entire family with compassionate, personalized care, allowing you to focus on birth knowing your older child(ren) are in capable, nurturing hands.
